Negativ Labs is a small studio of engineers and sound designers making the tools we wished existed — cold, cinematic, and clean enough to disappear into any mix.
Origin
Started in a grey room full of modular gear and broken tape machines. The name is the philosophy: we chase the sound in the gaps — the reverb tail, the sub you feel before you hear it, the texture behind the texture.
The engine
Every plugin runs on one zero-latency DSP core we wrote from scratch. Our reverb, saturator and morph engine share the same clean signal path — stack them and nothing muddies.
What's next
Hardware is on the bench — a desktop instrument that puts the Negativ engine in your hands. Further out, we're exploring sound as something that heals, not only performs.
